Sea kayaking excursion in the Calanques of Cassis

Course of events

- Reception at the meeting point at the end of the Avenue des Calanques (⚠️ no parking at this location, you will have to park further away and therefore plan to arrive at least 30 minutes in advance)

- Preparation of the equipment, lowering of the kayaks into the water (200 meters of carrying) and briefing on paddle handling

- Descent of the Port-Miou Calanque

- Discovery of the Port Pin and En-Vau Calanques

- Return to the starting point by the same route and pick up the equipment to finish the activity

Activity requirements

Knowing how to swim is compulsory for this activity.

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the activity (even 1 hour in summer): there is no parking at the meeting point, you will have to park further away, for example at the Gorguettes car park which has a shuttle bus every 30 minutes in summer to take you to the starting point of the excursion.

A minimum number of 5 participants is required for this activity to take place.

Children under 10 years of age will be allowed to ride in a triple kayak between 2 adults.

Special terms

The activity may be switched to a departure from La Ciotat. If you can't be flexible at the last minute about the place of departure, book a departure from La Ciotat on this page.

This activity is weather-dependent. If the weather does not allow for the activity to take place, we will contact you to reschedule or receive a full refund.
